The Painted Hall, Chapel & Visitor Centre
Daily | 10am-5pm (last entry 4.30pm)

Daily | 8am-11pm
Closures
When we are hosting special events, we sometimes need to close areas early. Any early or partial closures will be published on our website below, in advance.
The Painted Hall will close:
- Wednesday 6 November – full closure
- Friday 22 November – full closure
- Tuesday 26 November – full closure
- Thursday 12 December – early closure at 4pm
- Tuesday 24 December – Thursday 26 December – all day
- Wednesday 29 January 2025 – full closure
The Chapel will close:
- Monday 28 October – Friday 1 November – all day
- Monday 4 November – until 3.30pm, open for Evensong
- Tuesday 5 November – all day
- Monday 18 November – until 3.30pm, open for Evensong
Tours
We run talks throughout the day in the Painted Hall as well as daily tours that are all included in the price of your ticket; simply join a tour on the day.*

Painted Hall Talks

Blockbuster Film Tours
Thursdays and Sundays | 12:30pm, 2:30pm
